Ordering

How far in advance should I place my order?

For standard Odette Box orders, we recommend placing your order at least 3–7 days in advance.
For custom colors, events, or weddings, please reach out 2–6 weeks before your date.

Do you offer same-day orders?

At this time, we do not offer same-day pickup.
Each batch is handcrafted to order and requires preparation time.

How do I place an order?

You can place an order through our website, using our online inquiry form, or by emailing team@odetteconfectionery.com.

Is payment required upfront?

Yes. All orders must be paid in full at the time of booking. Custom event orders may require a 50% non-refundable retainer.

Flavors & Customization

Do you offer custom colors?

Yes! We can tailor macaron colors to your event palette.
While exact Pantone or fabric-perfect matches cannot be guaranteed, we always aim for the closest, most elegant match possible.

Can you make custom flavors?

Custom flavors may be available depending on schedule and ingredient availability. Additional development fees may apply.

Do you make character macarons, themed shapes, or designs?

At this time, we specialize in classic French round macarons with elegant, modern styling.
If you have a special creative request, feel free to inquire — we may be able to accommodate depending on the project.

Pickup & Delivery

Where do I pick up my order?

Pickup is in Layton, Utah. Our exact address is provided after your order is confirmed.

Your order will be prepared in our dedicated secondary home kitchen used exclusively for Odette Confectionery.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes, local delivery to the Davis County area may be available for an additional fee. Delivery must be made directly to the customer, per Utah HCHFA guidelines.

What if I’m running late for pickup?

Please notify us as soon as possible. We allow a 30-minute grace period, after which your order may be placed outside for contactless pickup (weather permitting). We cannot guarantee product quality if macarons are left unattended or exposed to temperature extremes.

Food Safety & Allergens

Are your macarons gluten-free?

Macarons do not contain gluten in the recipe, but we cannot guarantee a gluten-free environment due to potential cross-contact in our home kitchen.

Do your products contain nuts?

Yes. All macarons are made with almond flour, and some flavors contain additional nuts such as pistachios or hazelnuts.

What allergens should I be aware of?

Our products may contain or come into contact with:

  • Tree nuts

  • Dairy

  • Eggs

  • Soy

  • Food colorings

  • Gluten (possible cross-contact)

Do you bake in your family kitchen?

No. We bake in a dedicated secondary kitchen within our home that is used exclusively for Odette Confectionery production. This kitchen operates under Utah’s Home Consumption & Homemade Food Act (HCHFA) and is not state-inspected.

Events & Weddings

Do you offer macarons for weddings, showers, and events?

Yes! We love working with event planners, brides, and hosts. We offer custom palettes, curated flavors, and elegant presentation options.

Is there a minimum order for events?

Yes:

  • Standard events: 24 macarons minimum

  • Custom colors/flavors: 36+

  • Weddings: 36–72+, depending on design

Do you offer tastings?

Tasting boxes may be available with advanced notice. Please inquire for availability.

Storage & Serving

How long do macarons stay fresh?

Macarons are best enjoyed within:

  • 1–2 days at room temperature

  • Up to 5 days refrigerated

  • 4–5 weeks frozen (airtight container)

Always serve at room temperature for ideal texture.

Can I freeze your macarons?

Yes — macarons freeze very well. Store in an airtight container and thaw overnight in the refrigerator before serving.

Refunds & Order Changes

Do you offer refunds?

All sales are final due to the perishable, handcrafted nature of our products.

Can I change my order?

Changes to standard website Odette Boxes must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to pickup.
Event or custom orders may require more notice, please contact us as soon as you’re aware of needed changes.
