Pickup & Delivery Policy

Pickup Policy

All orders from Odette Confectionery are prepared in small batches and must be picked up on the date and time selected during checkout or agreed upon during the ordering process.

Pickup Location

Pickup is available in Layton, Utah.
For privacy and safety, our exact pickup address is provided after your order is confirmed.

Pickup takes place at our dedicated secondary home kitchen, used exclusively for Odette Confectionery production and operating under Utah’s HCHFA guidelines.

Pickup Windows

We offer scheduled pickup windows to ensure your order is fresh and properly handled.
Your pickup details will be included in your confirmation message.

If you need to adjust your pickup time, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will accommodate changes whenever feasible, but adjustments cannot always be guaranteed, especially during high-demand periods.

Late Pickup

We understand delays happen. If you are running behind schedule:

  • Please text or email us to let us know.

  • Orders not picked up within 30 minutes of the scheduled time may be placed in a cooled area for contactless pickup (weather permitting).

  • We cannot be held responsible for product quality once the order has been left unattended.

Macarons are delicate. Heat, cold, or direct sunlight may affect appearance or texture.

Failure to Pick Up

If an order is not picked up on the scheduled date, it cannot be refunded or remade.

Because macarons are perishable and prepared specifically for each order, unclaimed orders are not eligible for refunds or credit.

Delivery Policy

At this time, we offer local delivery on a limited basis, depending on availability and schedule.

Local Delivery Area

Delivery may be available within Davis County and surrounding areas.
A delivery fee may apply based on distance.

Delivery Requirements

  • All deliveries must be made directly to the customer, per HCHFA rules.

  • We cannot deliver to retail shops, cafés, or third-party businesses for resale.

  • Delivery must be accepted in person unless otherwise arranged in advance.

If the customer is not present at the delivery location and has not communicated alternate instructions, the delivery may be rescheduled for an additional fee — if scheduling allows.

Weather Considerations

Macarons are temperature-sensitive.
During hot weather, we strongly recommend:

  • Bringing a cooler or insulated bag to pickup

  • Transporting your order directly to an air-conditioned environment

  • Avoiding leaving macarons in a warm car

During cold months, allow macarons to come to room temperature before serving for ideal texture.

Customer Responsibility After Pickup/Delivery

Once your order has been picked up or delivered, its care becomes the responsibility of the customer.
